Fibreglass tape, graduated metres into cm/mm and inches and 1/8" on reverse. ABS plastic case with soft grip grab winding handle and stainless steel holding claw on end of tape. Manufactured to EC class III accuracy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misleading description The first example of this that I purchased did not have a 'stainless steel claw' at the end of the tape, but was obviously good enough for someone to purloin.Nor did a 50m I asked to look at in my local store. The second one I bought (had to make 30mile round-trip to collect as out of stock locally) yesterday also didn't have a claw on the end, the screw holding the spool in the centre seemed very loose when I used it this morning (tightens with a screwdriver but would have expected it to be better) and the edge of the tape appears frayed about 2/3s along :\

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfectly good for light work This is a very good tape for the money and all works perfectly well so I would recommend it. It is not the most robust unit so I suspect for regular heavy use it may not be the ideal choice. But overall happy with it.
