Ideal for securing ladders to a roof rack for safe transportation. The simple aluminium hooks attach to the roof rack bars and the aluminium crossbar screws downward to the required height, clamping the ladders securely in place.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from God value The product is well made and robust with more than adequate strength for purpose, however, for my roof rack the hook could either do with being bigger in diameter or wider and flat bottomed. I understand it is impossible to provide a universal solution but it barley hooks around my roof bar, and potentially undermines its security. More detailed dimensions should be provided in the description.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Different brand, not aluminium It is described as Youngman brand but the label is Werner. Youngman Group Limited became Werner UK Sales & Distribution Limited in 2018 so it's the same product but the Toolstation web page needs to be updated. It looks strong and well-made and it is described as aluminium hooks with aluminium crossbar but all parts are actually galvanised steel, which could rust eventually. One minor criticism is that the plastic caps on the ends of the wing nuts are not fixed on so you need to tape them on with Gaffer Tape if you want to avoid losing them.
