Product Details

Fully adjustable torch with a highly concentrated, anti-flare flame. Compatible with most gas cylinders. Lightweight, tough magnesium alloy body. Stainless steel burner head with swivel adjuster collar. Flame lock, flame regulator and safety lock. Instant piezo ignition. Standard CGA600 thread. Comes with MAP gas cylinder and 3 nozzles.



Wear suitable protective gloves in use and when attaching nozzle. Sale will be restricted to over 18s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality and Value A very well built torch complete with 3 three burners and a canister of MAP gas. The torch is also compatible with propane. The three nozzles allow you to choose one suitable for the job varying from a fine jet to a much larger Vortex burner and the control valve allows further adjustment. MAP gas burns at a significantly higher temperature than propane which has several advantages. Obviously you can heat up your work piece to higher temperature or more quickly than you could with propane; this has the added benefit of keeping the heat more localised lessening the chances of undesirable secondary heating effects. MAP gas also has the advantage that its combustion products make it better suited to flame polishing of acrylic and other plastics than propane.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product but poor instructions I have to agree with other reviews previously written, as I made a very fundamental mistake of connecting the nozzle the incorrect way around, meaning the piezo action did not work correctly. I didn't think there would be two ways for the nozzles to be fitted if these needed to be aligned with a terminal in the torch, but in truth the instructions are poor. Only just started using this and so cannot make comments on durability etc, but works well and the three nozzles are useful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Suitable for all job First i was shocked with the price, because you getting all this for a very low price, because a good blowtorch its self cost more than this price, but i was astonished when i purchased it and used it, because the quality is excellent and the burners are perfect for the jobs depending on the pipe sizes,suitable for all pipe sizes and difficult areas. The only down side are when changing burners a bit fiddley, but you get used to it and the burners are short not long enough to reach difficult areas, but it does the job. So lets see how long it last.

As per previous review by another customer, lacks easily read safety info etc. Micro printed info on side of handle re gas purging etc just don't cut it...Professional tools should always come with complete printed instructions for filing and legal protection.The Web site for this product offers no more info than the packaging.I know it's gas torch and most people who have used such tools would in about 20 seconds work out what the two locking controls are for..but why does one gas tube have a knurled brass grip?..is it a control of some sort?..etc gets kinda hot there finding out..and actually, which gas tube is really which? You should always assume that people are using product for first time purchased from Toolstation/Screw-Fix etc ..not a trade only supplier company counter.
